Helping accountants and bookkeepers attract new clients
The team at Xero accounting software wants to help its community of accounting and bookkeeping partners succeed in every way possible – including marketing. So we developed a marketing bootcamp and invited partners to participate through a closed Facebook group. I wrote the playbook that contained templates and advice for developing an elevator pitch, discovering audience personas and writing a marketing plan. I also wrote video script outlines and social posts that we shared during the 4-week bootcamp. We beat our targets for numbers of participants, video views and interaction on Facebook, and loved seeing how keen people were to put our ideas into action. See the full playbook.
